Team Manila Strikes Fast

What I'd tell you? In my last post, I said there's a wealth of artistic talent in the Philippines. So much so that some top designers are willing to help out the government for free. In practically no time at all, Team Manila came up with their own versions of the "PILIPINAS, TARA NA!" logo and I am liking it.




I think they've managed to capture the fun intent of the original logo.  They used a whole lot of colors, quite unusual for modern logos but essential in the Philippine market. My personal favorite is the last one. Which one's yours?

    I like the green effect on the designs presented. Most likely,it represents the cool breeze in the Philippines. Generally, the designs were ok! Keep it up Team Manila!

    What makes all this a total win is how people are now voicing out their distaste in how the government operates, even in the smallest things. It's a call for quality, and it's about frickin' time.

    I hope more talented entities join the fray.

    The first set looks like a subtle take on Obama's 08 campaign logo, but still tastefully done.

    I want a shirt with the maroon text of the second set :) I hope they make more!

    This is better. They should probably hire these guys or Lindsey Grande from the thecolorcure.com

    The top are the best, but they're probably based on a foreign logo.

    I guess things could be worse. if we Filipinos are gonna make something good, might as well copy from the pros.

    The two logos are tacky as hell.
