Esquire Releases the 2nd Solenn Video

My boyfriend is currently passed out somewhere because he's working so hard on my new blog venture along with his other "sabits". He's such an industrious young man that his Skype status is constantly, "Work work work" so I thought I'd post one of his "works" today. This is by far my favorite Esquire video. Click to see why!
1. It's Solenn. She's hot no matter what your gender.
2. It makes the hard chore of doing laundry look like so much fun.
3. This video has local flair because of something every Filipino household has- a plastic batsya.
4. The Dorques song is pure ear candy. I just want to, "lalala" all day long. (Not while doing laundry, I hope)
5. Best part is, they're a local band. OPM support!
Apparently, some people find this video offensive to women. Oh noes. I've scratched the last comment out just to be a little more sensitive.

PosturaPH Coming Soon!

Most people who come across my wee little blog are but passersby. They arrive here because of a specific Philippine related entry but may never come back a second-time around. I know the world won't stop because I did not post the past couple of months. So I didn't feel too awful exiting the blogosphere for a bit. Although, I feel that I do have a handful of loyal readers who might have missed me.
This entry is dedicated to you. Just wanted to say, HELLO! I'M ALIVE.
In fact, the past couple of months have been the busiest I've ever had. Aside from busting my butt at the day job, I have brand new blog underway. It is all set to launch but I cannot reveal too much, only that I've found an amazing bunch to jump start it with me.
So, here's a little sneak peak.
FIND OUT THIS FRIDAY!
A big thank you to Art Alero for our photo and to Ayala Museum for for letting us bloggers strut around their fancy exhibits.

Filip+Inna, one of my favorite brands in the world, is having a rare trunk show here in Manila. I can go on and on about how much I adore this brand because of it's distinct Filipinoness but I won't because photos will do a much better job.

We aim to revive and preserve hand embroidery and beadwork as a means of income generation, preventing it from becoming another lost art. We work with an amazing group of talented artisans, mostly women who have had traditional weaving techniques passed down through their families for generations.

From our hands to yours, may the beauty and depth of each garment bring a profound appreciation for what is distinctly Filipino.
